I'm planning to spend the winter at Aspen or Crested Butte turning lifts part-time, skiing as much as I can, and likely eating lots of ramen. I've been backcountry skiing almost exclusively on a pair of 178cm touring skis (95 waist) and am looking for something I can charge on at the resort. The contenders right now are the Dynastar Cham 107, Blizzard Cochise, and Soul 7. Any opinions? Also, should I step up to the mid 180's? I'm about 170 lbs and 5'11", and do like to go fast, so I'm thinking I should. I just don't want to feel like I'm on a big clunky plank.
